GUIDE TO FINDING YOUR SIZE
Finding the right fit for your Urban Shepherd Boots is essential for comfort and durability. Our lasts are designed with traditional bootmaking standards in mind, so leaving a little extra space in the front of the boot is important.
Our Sizing Recommendation:
• Ideal Fit: We recommend leaving 7–10 mm of extra space. For example, if your foot measures 27 cm, a size 42 is usually the best choice.
• Thicker Socks & Wide Feet: If you plan to wear thicker socks in winter or have wide feet, choosing the next size up (e.g., 43 instead of 42) can be more comfortable.
• Fit Preference: Some prefer a snug fit with about 5 mm extra, while others like more room (up to 12 mm). Consider what feels best for you.
Why Measuring Your Feet is Crucial:
Accurate measurement is the best way to determine your correct size. The more precise your measurements, the easier it is for us to recommend the perfect fit.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR FEET:
1. Wear the socks you plan to use with your boots and stand on a sheet of paper, distributing your weight evenly on both feet.
2. Trace your feet: Carefully trace around your foot with the pen held straight (90° angle to the floor) for accuracy. Repeat with the other foot.
3. Measure: Use a ruler to measure from the longest toe to the heel in centimeters on both tracings.
